Description
The NELÉ File Black Straight Universal 100/180 Grit Green Line is an essential tool for professional and personal nail care. It offers the perfect combination of versatility, durability, and precision, catering to a wide range of nail care needs. Designed for dual functionality, this file features two grit options to handle various tasks. The coarse 100-grit side is perfect for removing bulk products, such as old gel or acrylic enhancements, and shortening nail extensions. It delivers efficient results, even for challenging filing tasks.
The 180-grit side is gentle yet highly effective, making it ideal for preparing natural nails, shaping free edges, and refining enhancement products. This side also helps roughen the nail surface for better adhesion of gels or acrylics. Its gentle texture avoids damaging natural nails, ensuring a smooth, polished finish. Additionally, it blends artificial tips seamlessly with natural nails, creating a flawless, natural look for lengthened enhancements.
Ergonomically designed for comfort and efficiency, the file’s straight, flat shape ensures even filing and precise results. Its cushioned core provides added flexibility, reduces hand strain during extended use, and enhances durability. Crafted with high-quality materials, this file withstands multiple uses. Although heavy filing on enhancements may cause wear over time, its reliability makes it a cost-effective choice for professional nail technicians and home users.
Hygiene is critical in nail care. To keep this file clean, brush off debris with a NELÉ Nylon Dusting Brush, spray it with NELÉ Sanitizer, and air-dry on a disposable towel. For added safety, NELÉ advises using individual files for each client, stored in clean, labelled containers.
Whether you’re a professional or a home enthusiast, the NELÉ File Black Straight Universal 100/180 Grit Green Line ensures flawless nails with ease and confidence.
The NELÉ File Black Straight Universal 100/180 Grit Green Line features both coarse (100 grit) and medium (180 grit) surfaces, offering versatility for a variety of nail care needs. The 100 grit side is ideal for quickly removing bulk product and shortening nail enhancements, saving time and effort during services. The 180 grit side is perfect for gently roughening the nail surface to enhance the adhesion of gels and acrylics without damaging natural nails. This nail file can be used to shape and shorten natural nails or enhancement products with ease, ensuring flawless, uniform results.
It is also highly effective for blending artificial tips seamlessly with natural nails, achieving a professional finish when lengthening nails. The straight, flat shape ensures even filing and is easy to hold and maneuver, while the cushioned core adds flexibility and comfort. Its durable design resists bending, ensuring consistent performance. Quickly eliminate jagged or rough edges after trimming to leave nails neat and well-groomed. The file is easy to disinfect with NELÉ Sanitizer and simple to store, ensuring cleanliness for multiple uses on the same client. Promote client-specific hygiene by recommending personal nail files for each client, stored in clean, labeled containers exclusively for their use. Crafted from high-quality materials, this file ensures multiple uses without losing effectiveness, making it a cost-effective tool for both nail care professionals and home users alike.
It is crucial to ensure that new nail files are properly blunted and prepared before their first use. This step helps prevent accidentally cutting your clients’ cuticles or sidewalls (skin) during the filing process. To blunt the sharp edges of a new nail file, take an old nail file and run it along the edges of the new one. Repeat this step on all four sides until you can feel that there are no sharp edges capable of causing accidental cuts. Your nail file is now smooth and ready to use.
Use the 180 grit side to shorten the free edge of the natural nail or the 100 grit side to shorten enhancements. Hold the file straight at a 90-degree angle to the free edge and horizontally to the cuticle area. File in multi-directional strokes, ensuring all ten nails are the same length. To shape the free edge, view the nails from the reverse perspective (the client’s view) and use single-direction strokes to create a uniform shape across all ten nails.
When filing enhancement products or artificial tips, always follow a set pattern to avoid missing spots or over-filing.
Use the 100 grit side to quickly remove bulk product. To protect the natural nail, switch to the 180 grit side as you get closer to the nail to remove the last bit of gel.
For proper hygiene, disinfect the nail file by brushing off all dust with a NELÉ Nylon Dusting Brush. Spray the file with NELÉ Sanitizer, and allow it to air dry on a disposable paper towel before storing it in a clean container.
It is recommended that each client purchase a personal set of nail files. The nail technician should store these in a clean, labelled container exclusively for the client’s use, ensuring optimal hygiene and professionalism.
